Here you find artists and their tracks which appeal to our taste. We do not have huge preferences or adorations for particular people or music tracks. For the tracks in the playlist: these these put at least a smile on our faces.
One out of the many beautiful compositions of GoGo Penguin. We love the driving drum, the recurring piano theme with all its variations and the beautiful way in which the bass supports this and occasionally stands out itself.
Aria Math makes beautiful soundscapes which feel warm and intriguing. This one uses the warm sound of a handpan combined with electronic sounds that increasingly take over the stage.
DI-RECT is one of our Dutch favourite acts. Their creativity and diversity of sounds and moods is unrivaled. This one appeals to us because of the way in which the structure of the song has been approached. Restrained, intimate but with a driving force and slowly working towards the apotheosis.
Deep Dive Company is a continuous inspiration from our eastern neighbor Germany. This track appeals to us because of the intriguing text, the awfully simple slow but effective beat, the combination of spoken text, female singer, the guitar playing its line in between.
Peacec orchestra is fabulous in its creation of moods and rhythms. This track is our favorite because of its use of intriguing sounds and time taken to built a "storyline".
The piano immediately draws you into the sound. The fantastic timbre of Irene's voice makes you forget anything else. And then the acoustic guitar comes in and takes you into yet another dream.
